Over 85,000 UK households to have a safety visit over tumble dryer fire risk

Around 85,000 households are set to receive visits from their tumble dryer manufacturer following fire safety concerns, the product safety regulator has confirmed.

An urgent safety notice was issued last year for models manufactured by Haier, also sold under the Baumatic, Candy, Caple, Vacuum, Iberna, Lamona, and Montpellier brands.
