He has picked out who he wants to come in through the door at Rangers- but who could be the names behind that faceless assessment?
Michael Beale has confirmed that plenty of the summer recruitment work at Ibrox has already been done in the wake of sporting director Ross Wilson's exit for Nottingham Forest. He has confirmed that his process for 'identifying' targets is done and now it is just a case of executing deals and bringing in fresh faces.
There are current players like Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent out of contract, while number one Allan McGregor has a decision to make on whether or not he continues playing at the grand old age of 41s. There's already been plenty of speculation and reports of potential targets coming into Rangers, like Marcus Coco appearing in the crosshairs in French media reports on Friday morning, so Record Sport takes a look at all those who have been linked so far and another man revisited from January's shopping.
Pablo Torre
The most recently-linked star, the midfielder is a player Rangers tried to sign last summer before he opted for Barcelona. But minutes have been limited under Xavi and Spanish media sites are now reporting that the Light Blues are back in for the 20-year-old, although they aren't the only ones in the race, with Ajax, Club Brugge and a clutch of Spanish clubs also in the mix.
Malik Tillman
One of Wilson's last actions before leaving Rangers was to hold discussions with Bayern Munich over the permanent transfer of the attacking midfielder. Tillman has been a shining light this season after arriving on loan from the German giants and there is a £5million option for an extended deal, with Beale confirming earlier this month: "Ross (Wilson) is away in the background speaking to Bayern." He is also keen to get a deal done so this is one to watch.
Jonathan Panzo
It's been a regular shopping ground for Rangers and England could be where they go again for some talent to bolster their squad. Record Sport reported in March that they have been running the rule over defender Panzo, who has spent this season in the Championship on loan at Coventry City on loan from Nottingham Forest. Panzo has previously worked with Beale when he was coming through the ranks at Chelsea but will go back to the City Ground this summer, who haven't yet confirmed their Premier League status and have Wilson behind the scenes.
Luis Palma
The Honduran winger has reportedly been scouted by those at Ibrox ahead of this summer. It is claimed he was watched during current club Aris' home defeat to Panathinaikos in Greece and Rangers have also been keeping an eye on him all season. But it could cost a pretty penny, as Palma's employers want £4.5 million for their star asset, who still has three years left on his contract.
Thomas Kristensen
Another defender, the Dane has already visited Ibrox with a view to a summer move according to reports in his homeland. Currently at AGF Aarhus, it is suggested that Gers scouts have watched him on a tour of Scandinavia as he goes through his breakthrough campaign in the Danish Superliga.
Rade Dugalic
If the rumour mill is anything to go by, it's the defensive department Rangers want to bolster. Dugalic almost signed during Steven Gerrard's time in charge when he was with Russian top-flight side FC Tosno and is now weighing up his options away from the Chinese Super League with Meizhou Hakka. He's even addressed the rumours, saying it would be a 'crowing moment' to sign for Rangers.
Angus Gunn
The only real mention of a goalkeeper so far, it's been claimed the new Scotland international may be one Beale looks at this summer. He is with Norwich City currently but they are pushing for Premier League promotion again and Gunn is now a full international, but the Rangers boss is on the hunt for a keeper it seems and said in February that 'there are three or four goalkeepers that we’re looking at.'
Morgan Whittaker
He's not been linked to Ibrox since but the Swansea attacker's name will no doubt be mentioned within the fanbase come the summer months. The forward impressed on loan at Plymouth in thee first half of this season and looked set to win a move to Ibrox off the back of it, but a deal with the Championship side wasn't completed in time during January, with the chance to sign him opening up again soon and it's a name they could circle back to.
