With the James Harden trade drama swirling around the 76ers as the 2023-24 NBA season got underway, there was obvious concern looming on the team's outlook. Philadelphia was without one of its best players from last season and hadn’t acquired any talent yet in exchange for Harden.
But through the first five games of the season, four of which included Harden on the roster, the 76ers are off to a 4-1 start and made some impressive history in the process. As Sportradar revealed, they became the first team in NBA history to have four players average 20-plus points per game through the first five games of the season.

Obviously, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey's play has made headlines, as both average north of 26 points per game, but the consistency from Tobias Harris and specifically Kelly Oubre's emergence has been impressive.
The 76ers face the Wizards on Monday, Nov. 6, and then have a tough five-game stretch which features two games against the Celtics and two against the Pacers.
