Another memorable year at Aintree racecourse has come to a close after the 2023 Grand National Festival.
The festival got off to a good start people had even started arriving. While Friday started off sunny before rain and hail arrived.
But for the final day, the sun was shining with many opting for stylish sunglasses. Weather aside, the 2023 Grand National Festival proved a huge event for fashion in the city, living up to its long-standing reputation

This year's trends saw many women opting for orange outfits - as well as the classic headpieces and beautiful pastel suit jackets and trouser combos. A lot of the men wore grey and navy suits, some paired with flat caps and more.
We also saw racegoers go a bit more casual this year, as The Jockey Club dropped its usual dress code. On Ladies Day, Sian Jones, from Ellesmere Port, also beat off tough competition on the damp and muddy pink carpet to scoop the coveted top prize as Style Award winner.
The festival came to a close after the Grand National steeplechase, the much-anticipated event we’d all been waiting for. In our gallery above we look back at some of the best pictures from a fantastic weekend of racing, fashion and fun. We’re already looking forward to the Grand National 2024.
