Nottingham pub goers are in with a chance of winning free tipples this summer as part of Greene King's 70,000 drinks giveaway. The freebies are part of the new Festival of Sport game with prizes including drinks, concert tickets, TVs, stadium tours and more. As well as 100,000 prizes there's also ten per cent off selected drinks.
Punters have to download the Season Ticket app from Greene King and roll the dice within the newly launched Festival of Sport game. Participating pubs in the city centre include the Bell Inn, the Old Dog and Partridge and Via Fossa. The Rose and Crown in Lenton, the Test Match in West Bridgford, and Starting Gate in Colwick are also involved.
The giveaway runs throughout the summer. Drinks with ten per cent off include draught Guinness, Carling and Fosters, bottles of Budweiser and Ice Breaker, soft drinks such as Coca-Cola and Schweppes Lemonade, Blossom Hill and El Mazo wines, Jack Daniels, and Smirnoff.

Pubs will be showing an array of sport including football, rugby, tennis, cycling, cricket, F1, horse racing, athletics and golf. In the Festival of Sport game, players will be rewarded for collecting cards relating to each sport – with three collectable cards per sport.
Once three cards have been collected, lucky winners will be able to win TVs, merchandise, concert tickets and festival tickets. Prizes also include Wembley Stadium tours, tickets to the Premiership Rugby final and tickets to The Hundred. Customers will be entitled to three rolls of the dice a day, depending on how many drinks they buy through the Season Ticket app.
Chris Conchie, head of marketing for Greene King sport said: “Our Season Ticket app is a fantastic way for customers to be guaranteed discounts on drinks this summer. It doesn’t matter if you’re a football fan or a Formula 1 fanatic, the new Festival of Sport game gives players the chance to win so many different prizes, from free drinks to tickets to some of this summer’s most anticipated sporting events.” The app is available via Apple and Google stores.
