7 years after it was cancelled by Fox, Marvel's X-Force movie producer reveals that a major MCU actor was set to star as a fan-favorite villain

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld says the live-action X-Force movie was going to feature none other than Josh Brolin as Stryfe, the supervillain counterpart to X-Men hero Cable.

"The X-Force movie that was going to be coming to screen that Fox had planned before Disney bought the Fox catalog; he was absolutely in that movie," Liefeld told The Direct. "Spoiler alert! It would have been great… There were, at one point, discussions about him being in an after-credits scene in Deadpool 2, but they struck that."
