A seven-year-old roller skater turned an early setback into a remarkable comeback during a competition in Wuhan, China. Tangtang fell almost immediately after the race began and was left trailing the other children, but instead of stopping, she got back on her skates and began closing the gap. She eventually overtook the competitors one by one, finished first in her group and qualified for the next round, according to CGTN.
The comeback drew attention not simply because Tangtang won, but because of how quickly she recovered after what appeared to be a disastrous start.
