With a continuing backlog caused by the pandemic, wedding season 2023 looks set to be a big one, as thousands of couples tie the knot, many of them long after they originally intended.
According to the UK Weddings Taskforce (ukweddings.org) an estimated 264,000 ceremonies were postponed due to Covid restrictions in 2020. Add to that around 278,000 recently engaged couples and you’re looking at more than half a million weddings in the pipeline.
