San Antonio Spurs rookie phenomenon Victor Wembanyama has officially arrived.
In what’s likely the defining game of his young career so far, Wembanyama threw down some genuinely jaw-dropping highnights in San Antonio’s home game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.
While we all knew Wembanyama was special, his latest performance is perhaps our best glimpse yet at just how generational Wembanyama’s talents really are and how the league just can’t stop some things about his play style.
While the Spurs couldn’t get past the Bucks in the close 125-121 loss, Wembanyama’s utter dominance has to be a win in and of itself for this franchise. This guy is the real deal.
The Spurs rookie had 27 points, nine rebounds, five blocks, five turnovers, an assist and a steal in the mind-blowing performance. These highlights prove as much.
