NEW DELHI: A power-packed batting effort was followed by a demolition job by the pacers as Team India's dream run at the ongoing ODI World Cup continued with an incredible 302-run hammering of Sri Lanka at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.
With the victory, India pulled off their seventh win in a row and became the first team to officially book their place in the semi-finals of the cricketing extravaganza.
The win also helped India regain the top spot in the standings as Rohit Sharma and co. continued to remain the only undefeated team in the competition.
