Volunteers crack, whisk and pour thousands of eggs into a four-metre pan over an open fire in Malmedy, Belgium, during the Giant Omelette Festival on 15 August.
The footage shows bacon sizzling before cooks add the egg mixture, herbs and seasoning. They stir the omelette with long tools, slice loaves of bread and serve portions to residents and tourists.
