663 Stranded, 9 Dead, 1,067 Injured In Taiwan Earthquake

An update from Taiwan's National Fire Agency on Thursday revealed that 663 individuals are still stranded in the aftermath of the recent earthquake that hit the northern Hualien County. The agency reported that the death toll stands at nine, with 1,067 people sustaining injuries.

As of Wednesday, over 200 individuals sought refuge in shelters throughout Hualien County, while approximately 10,000 households were left without access to water.
