£65 flights to Ibiza and Alicante on sale now as Jet2 comes to Liverpool

Budget airline and tour operator, Jet2, has launched new services from Liverpool John Lennon Airport that will be taking to the skies from March next year.

With 20 destinations on offer, including exclusive new routes to Gran Canaria, Menorca, Rhodes, Zante, Madeira, Paphos and Bourgas in Bulgaria, the new addition will make it easy for sun-seekers to head to the beach from the comfort of their local airport.

With the first flights expected to leave Liverpool Airport on March 28, 2024, Jet2 is planning to operate 54 weekly flights, including 12 a week to the Canary Islands and Ibiza.

Flights and holidays for next year went on sale earlier this week via Jet2 and Jet2 Holidays and the additional 565,000 summer seats mean that the best deals can currently be found on a flight-only basis.

Direct flights to Alicante are currently also being advertised for as little as £65 one way in May 2024, with flights to the Canary Islands including Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura starting from £95 in April.

Looking forward to welcoming Jet2, John Irving, Liverpool John Lennon Airport CEO said: "This is a great day for the airport and for the region’s holidaymakers. For the first time, travellers from across the Liverpool City Region and beyond will have the opportunity to book package holidays with the UK’s leading package holiday provider, direct from Liverpool John Lennon Airport – the airport of choice for travellers from across the North West and North Wales, bringing together the current Which? He added: "It’s also great to have seven new routes available that we know will be popular with holidaymakers and for our local independent travel agents to be able to sell, with customers taking advantage of all the convenience and hassle-free benefits of flying from Liverpool."
