The NFL offseason continues on a Saturday and the Arizona Cardinals are a day closer to their Week 1 road game at Highmark Stadium on September 8 to play the Buffalo Bills.
As we are counting down to the season, we are now 64 days way from that season opener.
The Cardinals do not have a player on the roster who wears No. 64 currently.
the last reasonably impactful No. 64 was offensive lineman J.R. Sweezy.
Sweezy played two seasons for Arizona in 2019-2020 and was their starting right guard.
He started all 16 games in 2016 and played in 13, starting 10 in 2020.
Of the starting offensive linemen, he was the one with a little nasty to him.
His two seasons with the Cardinals were his final two of nine NFL seasons.
He would sign with the New Orleans Saints in 2021 but never played a game.
We will be back for another countdown post on Sunday.
