Nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur was fatally shot, his music is back at the centre of global attention after a Las Vegas jury found Duane 'Keffe D' Davis guilty of first-degree murder on 31 August 2026.
Davis, 63, was convicted over the 1996 killing, with prosecutors arguing that he orchestrated the drive-by shooting in retaliation after Tupac and his associates attacked Davis' nephew, Orlando Anderson, earlier that night.
