This week’s top new movies have been confirmed, and several of the best streaming services will have fresh flicks for subscribers to enjoy over the coming days. Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu and Peacock are dropping new movies, and there are also big arrivals on premium streaming platforms.
The digital release of “Backrooms” will grab the most headlines, but I strongly encourage action fans to make time for “The Furious,” which might be the most adrenaline-raising film I’ve watched all year. Plus, Netflix has a coming-of-age comedy, Paramount+ has a cyberheist thriller, and Peacock has a romantic drama based on a Colleen Hoover novel.
