Supermarket loyalty programs and retail membership apps encourage frequent shopping by rewarding regular customers with points, discounts, and perks. While shoppers eagerly accumulate points throughout spring and summer, many rewards feature hidden expiration dates. Retailers frequently set expiration clocks to reset reward balances or promotional perks right as autumn arrives. Failing to track these deadlines means letting earned discounts vanish back into corporate accounts. I will examine six store-loyalty perks that frequently expire before fall.
