A will can force you to make uncomfortable decisions, but filling one out usually does not require reconstructing your entire financial life. The hardest documents often ask for something much more demanding: precise information that must match records, dates, accounts, debts, employment history, or supporting evidence.
That distinction matters because a document can look simple on the screen while hiding hours of homework behind it. Some forms also carry consequences far beyond the page itself. A typo on a casual application might mean another email. A mistake in a court filing, tax return, or mortgage document can create a much bigger mess.
