Anthony Martial has completed a loan move to Sevilla for the rest of the season.
The Manchester United striker told interim boss Ralf Rangnick he wanted to leave this month and has been granted his wish.
Sevilla are understood to have agreed to pay Martial's wages of £200,000-a-week in full, although there is said to be no loan fee involved in the agreement between the two clubs.
The loan fee is understood to have been absorbed into the payment of Martial's wages, which equates to around £4million for the remainder of the campaign.
France striker Martial, who has made just seven appearances for United this season and who was signed for £36m from Monaco in 2015, is set to fly to Seville today to complete the deal.
One dazzling season doesn't stop Martial from being in the conversation for being one of United's worst modern signings, but this six are definitely in the frame...
Angel Di Maria
Signed from Real Madrid for £59.7m in 2014, Di Maria arrived a Champions League and La Liga winner, but flopped at United.
His family were victims of a break-in while at home, while on the pitch he failed, United cutting their losses after just one season, offloading him to PSG, where he continues to thrive.
Memphis Depay
Signed from PSV Eindhoven for £25m in 2015, Dutch international Depay was handed United's iconic No.7 shirt but the stage proved too much for him.
He lasted just 18 months, sold to Lyon for £17m, having scored just seven goals in 53 United appearances.
Morgan Schneiderlin
Arriving at United in the same summer as Depay, midfielder Schneiderlin was signed from Southampton for £25m by Louis van Gaal, but never convinced at Old Trafford.
Like Depay, he also exited United in January 2017, joining Everton for £20m.
Bastian Schweinsteiger
United should have been suspicious when Bayern Munich let them sign him for £6m in 2015.
Injury-prone and unrecognisable from the formidable midfielder who helped Bayern to so much success and Germany to the World Cup in 2014, he left United in March 2017 to join Chicago Fire.
Alexis Sanchez
Arguably the biggest flop in United's history. The Reds beat local rivals Manchester City to the signing of Sanchez from Arsenal in January 2018, meeting his wage demands of £450,000-a-week.
He lasted 19 months, scoring just five goals in 45 appearances for United.
Daniel James
Winger arrived from Swansea in June 2019 for £15m and scored on his debut in a 4-0 win over Chelsea.
But he struggled thereafter, unable to hold down a regular place, and was eventually sold to Leeds last August, after managing nine goals in 74 games for United.
