A further 6,935 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland – with the nation's virus death toll increasing by 41.
Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are 2,383 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals which is up two from yesterday.
There are currently 22 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
The new fatalities within the last 24 hours mean the nation's death toll from the virus now stands at 11,469.
However, 13,885 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, March 27 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Meanwhile, there are 213 patients with Covid in Ayrshire hospitals – up 21 from yesterday and the highest figure since February 4 last year. Fewer than five people are being treated with the illness in the region's intensive care units.
Public Health Scotland say the newly reported cases figure for the last 24 hours may be a little lower than expected due to the timing of when they were processed this morning. An update will be issued on Monday.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Na h-Eileanan Siar has the highest rate in the country – at 2,501.9 as of Thursday, March 31.
South Ayrshire has the second-highest infection rate at 1,504.4 while Shetland Islands is third with 1,469.2.
In terms of Ayrshire's remaining two local authorities, North Ayrshire's rate is 1,410.1 while East Ayrshire's stands at 1,362.7.
Of the 575 new cases reported in Ayrshire, 210 were in North Ayrshire with 186 in South Ayrshire and 178 in East Ayrshire.

A total of 4,355,289 people have received one dose of a Covid vaccine; 4,093,341 are double jabbed and 3,452,587 people have received a third dose/booster.
