6,000-acre Kanjur land row: Fraud on court, says Bombay HC

MUMBAI: In a relief to the state government, the Centre, BMC, railways and a couple of private parties, the Bombay HC on Wednesday held that fraud was committed on the court and set aside a 2020 consent terms decree which had given all rights over 6,000 acres covering 279 plots, including 120 hectares at Kanjurmarg proposed for the Metro car shed, to Adarsh Water Parks and Resorts Pvt Ltd.

The state, Centre, BMC and railways showed HC documents and revenue records and submitted they were owners of large sections of the land. The HC said, "The consent term was result of a fraud."
