5th Test: Rohit Sharma does not take the field on Day 3 due to stiff back

NEW DELHI: India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah led the team on Day 3 of the 5th Test against England in Dharamshala as captain Rohit Sharma did not take to the field due to a stiff back.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted on X regarding the absence of Rohit in the field.

The extent of Rohit's issue with his back is currently unknown.

With 400 runs in 5 Tests, Rohit is the fourth-highest run-scorer in the series, which has already been won by India.

Rohit has scored 2 hundreds and a fifty in the series.
