The Cleveland Browns are set to head to the Greenbrier in West Virginia in the coming days for training camp to kick off. There have been a total of 23 different players to wear the number 52 for the Browns. The first player to wear it was George Young in 1946 and he would rock the 52 through the 1951 season.
Cleveland’s seventh-round pick Dawson Deaton was set to wear the number last season before his injury and he was ultimately cut before camp this year. The most famous player to wear it since the return would be Browns ring of honor member former linebacker D’Qwell Jackson.
