Gordon Elliott will train recent point-to-point winner Qualimita after the horse was purchased for €500,000 at Punchestown on Thursday.
The mare bolted up at Fairyhouse on debut last Friday and was sold for a sale record price at the Goffs Sale after racing at the Co Kildare track on Ladbrokes Stayers' Hurdle day.
She won the Fairyhouse point-to-point by 30 lengths for trainer Colin Bowe, who sold the horse to agent Mags O'Toole.
Bidding began at €200,000 and a battle between O'Toole and Peter Molony quickly broke out.
It is not known which owner the horse was purchased for, but has been speculated that it could have been for Robcour.
There were 22 horses in total sold at the sale for an average price of €197,000, which was up 23% on last year.
A massive €450,000 was also spent on another point-to-point winner in Histrionic, who is heading to Paul Nicholls after Tom Malone purchased him on the trainer's behalf.
