Hip-hop heavyweight 50 Cent slams ageing rappers still desperately chasing chart dominance in a youth-driven industry. The rapper argued that artists pushing 60 have absolutely no business trying to stay culturally relevant. Speaking on Thursday during an Apple Music broadcast, he made his own retirement plans abundantly clear.

The news came after the star appeared as a special guest on the Rap Life Review. This segment was part of a highly anticipated VERZUZ event featuring Donell Jones and Joe. Hosts Ebro Darden and Nadeska Alexis probed the rapper about his pivot into television and film.
