Netflix Prime Video HBO Max HBO Hulu Aurora Chris Stuckmann Sadie Sandler 5B Adam Sandler
(L-R) Mark Wahlberg as Brad Lewison and Paul Walter Hauser as Elijah in "Balls Up" on Prime Video.

This week’s crop of new movies across the best streaming services has plenty of noteworthy arrivals. Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max and Hulu are offering fresh films for subscribers to enjoy in the coming days. There’s also plenty of variety with comedy, action and romance.

Netflix will debut a teen comedy this week, “Roommates,” which sees two college freshmen go from friends to enemies. Meanwhile, Prime Video has a ridiculous-looking soccer-themed adventure that arrives just ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Horror fans should check out “Shelby Oaks” on Hulu, and action obsessives have “Dust Bunny” on HBO Max.
