5 SPFL fixtures switched in New Year shake-up as Sky Sports plump for EPL style double header

Sky Sports Sky SPFL Rangers Celtic Aberdeen Dundee United Hibernian Kilmarnock Motherwell

A host of Scottish Premiership fixtures have been moved as punters are set for a thrilling run after the New Year.

Motherwell vs Hibernian and Dundee United vs Rangers have been selected for a Sky Sports double header as the broadcaster is set to showcase our top flight in their regular Premier League kick-off slots on Sunday, January 8 as that is a FA Cup weekend so Scottish football will be front and centre on both Sky Sports Main Event and Football.

And a trio of fixtures will move from the weekend of January 14/15 to Wednesday, January 18 due to make way for the Viaplay Cup semi-finals. Aberdeen will travel to Hearts, Celtic will host St Mirren and the live Sky game will between Kilmarnock and Rangers - with both of those sides in the last four at Hampden in the previous weekend.
