Parent Unplugged is a parenting podcast hosted by certified parenting coach Charis Halsall.

In the latest episode, Halsall is joined by autistic mum and author of Raising the SEN-Betweeners, Lisa Lloyd, who talks about the realities of parenting her two autistic children, Poppy and Finn.

They go on to chat about postnatal depression, the heartbreak that comes with school masking – when a neurodivergent student unconsciously suppresses their natural traits, emotions and sensory needs to fit in – and the impact of meltdowns, anxiety and self-esteem.

Lloyd also opens up about being diagnosed with autism in adulthood, and why parents need to take better care of themselves.

If you are looking for a parenting podcast built on real stories and truth, then give Parent Unplugged a listen.

We are often flooded with content celebrating mothers and the unique bond that they share with their children, but the Girl Dad Podcast, hosted by actor and comedian Flex Alexander and his daughter Imani, shines a well-deserved spotlight on the special relationship between fathers and daughters.

In this week’s episode, they’re joined by four-time world boxing champion Abner Mares and his daughters, Amber and Emily. Together, they discuss life after boxing, the challenges of parenting, dating rules, and everything in between.

Flex and Imani make a fantastic hosting duo, asking thoughtful questions, while also giving their guests the space to open up about the moments and experiences that have shaped their relationships.

The heartfelt conversation reveals a more vulnerable and reflective side of the former boxing champion as Mares candidly shares his past mistakes and regrets.

He explains how retirement has allowed him to be more present as a father, supporting his daughters’ passions from the sidelines, and why the family he continues to fight for is the legacy he’s most proud of.

The episode also delivers plenty of light-hearted moments, with the dads and daughters sharing funny, relatable family stories and classic dad jokes that are sure to make you smile.

If you enjoy wholesome family conversations or you’re a girl dad – or know one – this is a podcast well worth listening to.

In this week’s four-minute episode, Ruby receives a brand new tennis racquet and, with the help of Old Nan Nan and Hat, learns how tennis racquets have changed over time.

Children discover that racquet strings were once made from wood and animal intestine before scientists developed modern polyester strings.

The episode explains these ideas in a simple, age-appropriate way while keeping the story engaging.

Alongside the history lesson, the podcast shares an encouraging message about perseverance, reminding young listeners that practising something difficult is the key to improving and building confidence.

On this week’s episode of Not Another Mummy Podcast, host Alison Perry is joined by neuroscientist, parent and content creator Dr Michele Veldsman, and Dr Elizabeth Milovidov, Roblox’s head of parental advocacy and a digital parenting expert.

Perry, Veldsman and Milovidov discuss whether parents are getting screentime right, feeling overwhelmed by the gaming world, and why parents worry that their children know more about technology than they do.

They also share more about what children are gaining from online experiences, and why not all screen time is created equal.

It was interesting hearing the trio chat about how the digital needs of children change as they grow up, and how parents can balance online safety and independence.

If you are a parent trying to better navigate your child growing up in digital spaces, then this episode of Not Another Mummy Podcast is an insightful listen.

Motherkind isn’t for the women who want to bounce back, but a podcast for those who have experienced how motherhood changes everything, and are looking for how they can “grow forward”.

In each episode, host Zoe Blaskey sits down with world-leading experts, thought leaders, psychologists, authors and well-known figures to unpack the real experiences of modern motherhood – from matrescence and identity loss to confidence, boundaries, work, relationships and self-worth.

This week, Blaskey has a powerful conversation wth GP and burnout expert Dr Claire Ashley about why so many mothers confuse burnout for failure.

Ashley opens up about how stress can impact the brain and body, the emotional and physical signs earlier, why working harder can often make things worse, and how burnout can take years to recover.

Motherkind is for anyone looking for honest conversations about motherhood and beyond.
