The holidays are a time for rewatching festive favorites from “Home Alone” to “Die Hard,” but there should always be room for a few potential future classics in your seasonal movie marathons. And that’s why every year, plenty of new Christmas movies are released, all hoping to become enduring picks.
In 2025, the likes of Netflix, Prime Video and Disney Plus are offering viewers new Christmas flicks to enjoy, from a festive-themed heist-comedy to a road trip adventure starring the Jonas Brothers. There’s even a new, and very violent, slasher heading to theaters, which sees a psychopath in a Santa suit go on a bloody rampage (yes, that's a real Christmas movie this year).
