The 49ers used the first of back-to-back picks in the sixth round on defensive lineman Kalia Davis from UCF.
Davis measures in at 6-1, 302 pounds and gives the 49ers some additional help on the interior of their defensive line. He sat out the 2020 campaign and was limited to only five games last season because of a torn ACL.
In four years he played in 25 games and posted 15 tackles for loss with 4.0 sacks. While San Francisco needs some depth, Davis because of his inexperience could find himself limited for the most part as a rookie while he develops under defensive line coach Kris Kocurek.
