In a stunning comeback, the San Francisco 49ers secured their spot in the Super Bowl with a thrilling victory over the Detroit Lions. Trailing by 17 points at halftime, the 49ers rallied in the second half to win the NFC Championship game 34-31.

The turning point came in the third quarter when quarterback Brock Purdy launched a 51-yard pass that deflected off a defender's facemask and miraculously landed in the hands of receiver Brandon Aiyuk. This improbable catch breathed new life into the 49ers and ignited their comeback.
