The Arizona Cardinals looked like they would get their first win of the season but then were outscored 31-8 in the second half against the New York Giants and lost the game 31-28, leaving them 0-2 on the season and in last place in the NFC West after two games.
The San Francisco 49ers are the only unbeaten team in the division after two weeks and sit atop division standings.

San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers improved to 2-0 with a 30-23 win over the Rams. Christian McCaffrey had his second consecutive 100-yard rushing game, going for 116 and a touchdown.
They got three total rushing touchdowns and picked off Matthew Stafford twice.
Los Angeles Rams
While the Rams lost, they still looked good. Even with Cooper Kupp on injured reserve, they got big numbers from their receivers. After rookie Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell both had 119 receiving yards in Week 1, Nacua added 15 catches for 147 more yards, while Atwell had seven for 77 yards.
Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks rallied back from a 31-21 deficit, forcing overtime and winning it in the extra period, beating the Detroit Lions 37-31 in Detroit.
Geno Smith had two touchdown passes, both to Tyler Lockett, while the Seattle defense forced three turnovers.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals fell to 0-2 on the season, losing another first-half lead.
They built a 20-0 lead in the first half and made it 28-7 in the third quarter, but they were outscored 31-8 in the second half for a 31-28 loss.
