The San Francisco 49ers will once again have injury problems entering their Week 16 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan in his press conference following Friday’s practice officially ruled out running back Isaac Guerendo for Sunday’s game. Defensive end Nick Bosa and linebacker Dre Greenlaw are also questionable.
Guerendo is working through a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 15 after returning from a foot injury he sustained in Week 14.
Bosa also made his return in Week 15 after missing three games with hip and oblique issues. He’s dealing with those same injuries. Greenlaw is listed with Achilles and knee issues after his season debut in Week 15. He missed the first 13 games recovering from an Achilles tear in the Super Bowl.
In some good news, defensive tackle Maliek Collins was a full participant and not listed on the injury report after missing Wednesday and Thursday with an illness. Offensive tackle Jaylon Moore, who will start at left tackle for Trent Williams, was also not listed after a full practice Friday. He was limited the first two days. Safety Malik Mustapha was also a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday before getting a full session in. He’s also not on the injury report and looks in line to play Sunday after sitting out Week 15.
