The 49ers list of inactives comes with good and bad news along the defensive line. The bad news is DL Javon Kinlaw will be out with a knee injury. The good news is DL Arik Armstead will be back in the lineup after missing Week 3 with a foot injury. Both players were officially listed as ‘questionable’ on the Week 4 injury report.
Here are all six of Monday’s inactives:
RB Tyrion Davis-Price (ankle)
TE Tyler Kroft (knee)
DB Tarvarius Moore (hamstring)
LT Trent Williams (ankle)
WR Danny Gray (hip)
OL Nick Zakelj
Kinlaw tested his knee pregame after being absent from practice all week. He was unable to get it right for game time though and now he’ll miss his 26th game in three seasons.
Armstead gave his foot a go during Friday’s walk-through and felt good enough to suit up Monday. San Francisco will need to rely on him heavily without Kinlaw in the middle. Expect Kevin Givens to be a significant factor again as well.
It’s not a surprise to see Gray among the inactives. He was listed as doubtful after not practicing all week. San Francisco on Monday made a handful of roster moves that included adding two WRs.
