The 49ers needed a win in Jacksonville to get their season back on track. They got a resounding 34-3 victory, and notched another win by keeping their health intact.
After the game head coach Kyle Shanahan said the team didn’t sustain any injuries in the immediate aftermath of the game.
“No injuries right now,” Shanahan said to open his postgame press conference. “I’m sure there’ll be some tomorrow, but nothing right now.”
Shanahan is scheduled to speak with reporters Monday on a conference call. Typically there are a handful of injuries that crop up in the hours after the game and those are noted in that Monday call.
There were a couple injury scares for the 49ers during Sunday’s game. Defensive tackle Arik Armstead left the game briefly with what appeared to be a leg injury. He returned to action quickly. Defensive end Nick Bosa also got shaken up and momentarily left the game.
It appeared left tackle Trent Williams and wide receiver Deebo Samuel both got through the game without any issues. Williams was dealing with an ankle injury that caused him to miss the previous two games. Samuel missed the same contests with a hairline fracture in his shoulder.
If the 49ers can get into Week 11 without any additional injury problems it would be almost as significant as getting a win in Week 10.
