St Patrick’s Day is nearly upon us, which means as many as 500,000 people are expected to descend on the Republic of Ireland’s capital city to join in on the celebrations.
Be careful, though: There are wrong ways to do Dublin, just like there are wrong ways to do London, or any capital city. Of course, you’ll want to join in on the parade and city centre experience on the big day, so getting a little tourist-y can’t be judged — that’s why you’re there. But before and after that, there’s plenty of fun to be had in Dublin that doesn’t require you to be anywhere near Temple Bar.
