Freezing weather is sending many of us on the hunt for something to keep up warm. But with spiralling energy bills, the need to find something that does the job for a minimum cost is paramount.
Now shoppers have discovered an Argos product which they say will not only keep you warm all night but it won't cost an arm and a leg to do it. They say the energy-efficient electric blanket, only costs 3p a night to run.
According to the Liverpool Echo the blanket is made from a soft, fluffy material and costs £45. It has four heat settings making it ideal for users to find a temperature that suits them.
While it does have overheat protection, it is recommended turning it off before heading for sleep. This is so you can regulate your core temperature.
It says when operating at its lowest setting, the Dreamland Antibacterial Heated Underblanket single costs 2.7p to run for eight hours. The blanket has corner straps which means it can fit comfortably onto a mattress and it is machine washable.
There's a timer, and fast setting claims to "have your bed warm in only 5 minutes, it's energy saving and costing only 1p to run per night". The product has seen it attract dozens of 5 star reviews from customers on the Argos website.
