A couple who weighed almost 40st between them after gorging on takeaways now look completely different.
Jo Beveridge, 50, and John Durkin, 52, tucked into takeaways and indulgent meals during lockdown as "it was all they had to look forward to".
But after spending their nights gorging fatty comfort food, John tipped the scales at 21st 8lbs while Jo reached 17st 6lbs. Unhappy with how they looked, they ditched the junk food and daily meal deals for home-cooked, low-calorie options.
