40-year-old Scottish engineering firm falls into liquidation after 119 jobs lost

AN ENGINEERING firm in South Lanarkshire has been placed into liquidation after it collapsed, resulting in 119 jobs being lost.

The East Kilbride-based Valve Components Limited collapsed into administration in 2024 but has now entered liquidation after operating for nearly four decades, as first reported by The Herald.
