40% increase in tech professionals moving from US to India amid H-1B row, LinkedIn data shows

A growing number of Indian tech professionals are returning home as uncertainty over the US H-1B visa program increases.

LinkedIn data shows a 40 per cent increase in tech workers changing their location to India in the third quarter of 2025, according to Bloomberg. This signals a huge potential for reverse migration from US.
