One of the top defensive lineman prospects in the 2024 class will be taking an official visit to Michigan State in early June.
Four-star defensive lineman Xadavien Sims announced on Friday that he intends on taking an official visit to Michigan State from June 2 – 4. Sims ranks as the No. 16 defensive lineman and No. 121 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2024 class.

Sims has long been a big-time target for the Spartans and is set to announce his college decision on Saturday. At the moment, Sims is projected to pick Oregon over Michigan State, Oklahoma, TCU and Vanderbilt.
While Sims is expected to pick Oregon on Saturday, getting this official visit in only a few weeks shows the Spartans are still in position to at least make a run at flipping his commitment. At the very minimum, it suggests he is still interested in Michigan State and is leaving the door open for a future in East Lansing, Mich.
