In his latest four-round 2023 NFL mock draft, NFL.com’s Chad Reuter has the Denver Broncos adding a defensive lineman, a guard and a running back with their first three picks.
The Broncos do not own first- or second-round draft picks this year following the Russell Wilson trade in 2022, but they do hold a pair of third-round picks (Nos. 67 and 68) and a fourth-round pick (No. 108).
With their first selection in Reuter’s mock, Denver selects Wisconsin defensive lineman Keeanu Benton (6-4, 309 pounds). After totaling 36 tackles (10 behind the line), 4.5 sacks and two pass breakups in 12 games last fall, Benton could serve as a rotational nose tackle in 2023.
After that, the Broncos add LSU guard Anthony Bradford (6-4, 332 pounds). This is an interesting pick given that Denver already has Ben Powers and Quinn Meinerz at guard. Bradford also has experience at tackle, but the Broncos have Mike McGlinchey and Garett Bolles. Perhaps the team could move Bradford or Meinerz to center if they draft Bradford.
With their fourth-round pick in the mock draft, Denver selects Texas A&M running back Devon Achane (5-8, 188 pounds). He totaled 1,298 yards from scrimmage and scored 11 touchdowns in 10 games last fall.
