HARIDWAR: After a gap of almost two years due to Covid pandemic, the fortnight-long kanwar yatra started on Thursday. Over 4 lakh devotees collected water from Ganga and another 6.10 lakh pilgrims have either arrived in Haridwar or are on the way, officials claimed.
The movement of devotees started from the early morning hours and continued till the evening. Some devotees complained of inadequate preparations althoughauthorities claimed that this year's arrangements were far better than compared to the previous yatras.
