4 from Madhya Pradesh held in gold theft case

Gold Madhya Pradesh Police Dhar Udupi

UDUPI: Byndoor police have arrested four persons in connection with a gold theft case reported on a private bus on June 16. The arrested accused are Ali Khan,31, Amzad Khan,33, Ikrar Khan,30, and Gopal Amlavar,35, who are all residents of Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh.

Based on a tip-off, a police team arrested the accused near a toll gate in Dhule district of Maharashtra on June 19. Police have recovered 466.96 g of gold, worth an approximate Rs 18 lakh, which was stolen from on board the private bus, and seized a car, and the mobile phones of the accused.
