The NFL Players’ Association last year began announcing an All-Pro team that’s voted on by players. This offers a different perspective on the league’s best players than the one presented by the All-Pro teams voted on by media.
San Francisco is well-represented on the second-annual NFLPA All-Pro team with four players landing on the list. Dallas has the most representatives with five.
Here are the 49ers voted to the NFLPA’s All-Pro team:
RB Christian McCaffrey
There’s only one RB on the NFLPA All-Pro team. It’s hard to imagine there was a ton of competition for McCaffrey who played in 16 games and led the NFL in touches, scrimmage yards, and touchdowns.
FB Kyle Juszczyk
There’s also only one fullback on the All-Pro team. Juszczyk, who was also voted to his eighth-consecutive Pro Bowl, is a shoo-in at the position given how underutilized the FB is in the modern NFL.
LT Trent Williams
Two injuries pushed Williams to the sideline for a couple games in 2023, but he was still dominant in his 13th season. It’s a testament to the level Williams is still playing at that his peers named him the best LT in the league.
LB Fred Warner
There’s not a better off-ball linebacker in the NFL than Warner. He and Ravens LB Roquan Smith are the two off-ball LBs voted to the NFLPA All-Pro squad by players. Warner is still an all-around force on the defensive side and a key reason for San Francisco’s defensive dominance.
