An engineering firm is investing £5 million into a new purpose-built facility to expand its operations in the West Midlands.
3P Innovation is doubling the size of its premises by adding a new 30,000 sq ft base to its existing head office site in Warwick.
The new workshop and offices on business park Tournament Fields will allow the company to expand its UK and international operations and double the size of its payroll when the project completes early next year.
3P works with global pharmaceutical and medical device businesses to help develop their new products, devices and production processes.
Managing director Nick Brooks said: "This new chapter is an exciting one for us. After outgrowing our current purpose-built facility in just three years, we needed to invest in another premises to enable our continued growth.
"We are looking forward to housing more projects, recruiting more engineers and expanding on our new 3P pharma equipment and 3P custom automation brands as the business takes an exciting direction towards standard platforms, alongside our traditional custom automation expertise."
The new warehouse project is being led by Clowes Developments, which owns Tournament Fields, with construction contractor Benniman.
Paul Shanley, consultant at Clowes Developments, added: "It is great to see an existing occupier at Tournament Fields thriving and expanding.
"We are delighted with the success 3P has experienced while located here and we are looking forward to helping them evolve further with their brand-new premises."
