£3k hen do at city hotel turns into a 'nightmare' for bride-to-be

A bride-to-be claims her expensive hen party turned into a 'nightmare' due to a problem-ridden stay at a city hotel which included 'putrid' chicken, stained pillowcases and no running water. Siobhan Kerr and nine friends also say their three-night stay featured dirty bedsheets and VIP nightclub passes that never turned up.

According to the MEN, the party had purchased a £3,000 party package at the four-star Shankly Hotel, in Liverpool, to celebrate Siobhan's upcoming wedding but the problems started not long after they arrived when they sat down for dinner at around 8pm and the food arrived over an hour late.

Siobhan said: “My main was chicken and as soon as I got it, the smell I got from it was putrid. It was completely inedible, I’m just glad I smelt it before I put it in my mouth. The other girls had a burger and they couldn’t even cut into the meat with a knife. We called the servers over and we were all told we couldn’t have anything else and there was nothing they could do about it, even when we asked to speak to a manager.”
