360 degree view from the top of Mount Everest takes the Internet by storm

Reaching the top of Mount Everest is a dream cherished by every trekking enthusiast, yet only a select few manage to conquer its formidable heights.

And for all those who can’t imagine reaching the top, or haven't been able to, they can only imagine how views from the top will look like. Therefore, the reward for those who reach the summit is an unparalleled, almost surreal, view that remains an elusive experience for most.

However, a recently circulated viral video on social media is changing that, providing a 360-degree panorama from the pinnacle of Mount Everest and allowing everyone to virtually enjoy this breathtaking view.

Witnessing the panoramic vista from the top of the world's tallest mountain is undeniably rare, especially considering that not everybody can reach there. But these awe-inspiring views can now be watched with a mere swipe on one's mobile phone.

This eye-catching video that was posted on X accumulated more than 35.8 million views, which shows a breathtaking snowy mountain landscape. In the footage, a group of climbers can be seen on top of Mount Everest, against the backdrop of sunlight and swirling winds. The sight is unbelievable!

Comments from those who viewed the video expressed their surprise and were inspired by this spectacular view. Users lauded the out-of-this-world beauty of the Mount Everest panorama, describing it as breath-taking and even likening it to a view of space. The unique circular symmetry of the very top part of Mount Everest is noted, enhancing its awe-inspiring appeal.

While viewers marvel at the beauty, there's also a palpable concern for the safety of the trekkers expressed in the comments, with well-wishes for a safe return journey. The climb to Mount Everest, attempted by close to 800 people annually, is no small feat. Set in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas, Mount Everest stands as the Earth's highest mountain above sea level, attracting climbers with its majestic allure.

However, the climb to its summit is faced with challenges, risks, and demands meticulous preparation.

If you go by the Himalayan Database reports, as of January 2019, 5,294 mountaineers have successfully conquered Mount Everest. Despite the allure, the mountain's risks were underscored by a tragic record in the previous year, which marked one of the deadliest seasons for Mount Everest climbers, recording 11 deaths by May. This stark reality serves as a reminder of the difficulty and perilous nature that climbers face to conquer it.
