After a rocky June, from sunshine to rain and thunderstorms, it looks like country is finally set for some scorching hot weather over the coming weeks.
According to the Met Office the country could be met with a 35C heatwave in parts of the south at the end of the month - as temperatures begin to rise from Thursday this week.
Leeds will see weather turn warmer and brighter on Friday, July 8, as temperatures reach 23C across the region - with fears of water shortage and a hosepipe ban coming into place by the end of July.
