NEW DELHI: In a first, Delhi government is going to deploy 300 electric mini-buses on small feeder routes where the 12m-long Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and Cluster Scheme buses can either not enter easily or where it is not economical to run bigger buses.
The proposal to deploy the smaller electric buses flows from a comprehensive route rationalisation study carried out by Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS), transport minister Kailash Gahlot told TOI.
